Privacy policy

Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how the natural person operating FanHuntly (“we,” “us,” or “our”), handles personal information when you use FanHuntly—an adults-only creator discovery service with rankings, visibility tools (such as boosts and featured placements), tips in platform credits (“FanCa$h”), votes, and reviews. It should be read together with our Terms of use, Creator terms, Content notice, KYC, and KYB policies.

Controller. The data controller responsible for personal information processed through FanHuntly is the natural person who operates FanHuntly in their individual capacity. FanHuntly is operated by an individual in their personal capacity as a natural person (sole operator), not as a registered company or other corporate entity. We do not publish the operator's legal name on these public pages. For data-protection requests, contracts, and other correspondence, use the contact email below. Where the law requires identifying the controller, we may provide that information to authorities or in response to lawful requests as applicable. We do not currently maintain a public physical mailing address; please use the email contact below for correspondence. For privacy inquiries, contact us at contact@fanhuntly.com. Where applicable, our Data Protection contact is dpo@fanhuntly.com.

This policy is a draft for operational transparency. Local counsel should tailor retention periods, legal bases wording, and regulatory disclosures for each jurisdiction where you market the service.

Scope and eligibility

FanHuntly is intended for individuals who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have received such information, contact us using the email above.

Information we collect

Account and authentication

We collect information needed to create and secure your account—for example, email address, authentication identifiers managed by our identity provider, password reset metadata, and session data needed to keep you signed in.

Profile and discovery

Depending on your role (fan or creator), we may collect display name, username/handle, biography text, gender and content categories for discovery filters, and preferences you set in the product (including choices about what appears publicly on your profile).

Preview media hosted on FanHuntly

For creator profiles, we may host a limited set of preview materials on our infrastructure: one profile photo (avatar), up to eight gallery photos, and optionally one preview video up to one minute in length. See the Content notice for limits and responsibilities.

Activity and platform credits (FanCa$h)

We process records of FanCa$h balances and movements through an internal ledger (for example tips sent to creators, purchases related to visibility promotions, featured-slot bidding, adjustments after disputes, and administrative corrections). Top-ups and creator payouts may be facilitated by third-party payment or payout processors you interact with when those features are enabled; we receive status and reference data from those providers rather than storing full card numbers on our servers.

Community interactions

We collect votes (upvotes), written reviews, featured auction bids, tip amounts and optional messages where the product allows, and similar interaction metadata needed to operate rankings and safety workflows.

Technical and security data

Like most online services, we collect technical information such as IP address, device or browser characteristics, approximate location derived from IP, timestamps, and logs needed for security, fraud prevention, debugging, and service reliability.

Support and integrity

If you contact support, report abuse, or participate in an investigation, we process the content of your communications and related metadata. We may preserve records where required to enforce our policies or comply with law.

Verification (KYC / KYB)

Where required for payouts, risk management, or compliance, we may collect identification or business documentation processed through specialized vendors. See KYC and KYB.

Limited anonymity and internal accountability

You may be able to hide certain profile elements (for example, a public photo or how your username is shown to others) depending on product settings. However, FanHuntly is not an anonymous network. We maintain internal identifiers and technical records tied to your account for security, fraud prevention, abuse response, audit trails for FanCa$h activity, and compliance with law. Actions that violate our policies may be traced internally even when public-facing labels are minimized.

Purposes and legal bases (summary)

Depending on your region, we rely on one or more of the following legal bases:

  • Contract — providing the service you requested (accounts, profiles, FanCa$h features where enabled).
  • Legitimate interests — securing the platform, improving features, measuring aggregated usage, and defending legal claims, balanced against your rights.
  • Legal obligation — responding to lawful requests and mandatory reporting where applicable.
  • Consent — where required for optional analytics or marketing cookies (you can adjust non-essential cookies using Cookie settings in the site footer).

Statutory requirements vary by country; your counsel should map each processing activity to the correct basis in your primary markets.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies for essential functions (such as maintaining sessions) and, where you opt in, for analytics. You can reopen preferences anytime via Cookie settings in the footer.

How we share information

  • Service providers — hosting, authentication, email, analytics (where consented), payment or payout partners, identity verification vendors, and customer-support tooling, bound by contractual confidentiality and processing terms.
  • Legal and safety — disclosures to law enforcement or regulators when required by law or to protect users and the public, including where content suggests harm or exploitation of minors.
  • Transfers of the service — if the operator sells or transfers the FanHuntly service or related assets (including to another individual or to an entity), personal information may transfer subject to safeguards described in the relevant agreement and notices required by law.
  • Assistants and subprocessors — independent contractors or tools engaged by the operator under confidentiality and processing terms (the operator is an individual, not a corporate group).

International transfers

We may process personal information in countries other than where you live. Where required, we implement appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses). Details can be provided upon request where mandated by applicable law.

Retention

We retain information as long as needed to operate FanHuntly, comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. FanCa$h ledger entries may be retained for audit and regulatory purposes for extended periods. Verification documents may be retained according to anti–money laundering / sanctions obligations. Counsel should confirm minimum/maximum retention schedules per category.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or export certain personal information, and to object to processing based on legitimate interests or direct marketing. You may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority where you reside.

Regional notes. Users in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, Brazil, and other regions may have additional statutory protections that cannot be waived by contract. Nothing in our Terms limits those mandatory rights.

Security

We implement administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. No online service can guarantee absolute security; use a unique password and protect access to your email account.

Third-party links

Creator profiles may link to external platforms. Those sites have their own privacy practices; we are not responsible for content or data handling outside FanHuntly.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the site or email where appropriate. Continued use after the effective date constitutes notice where permitted by law.
